Once you have your keywords, use them to optimize your content. Remember, you need to do it naturally.

Insert your keywords in your content as if you’re writing your piece normally. Don’t force it by placing the right keywords on the wrong section of your content. Make sure that what you’re trying to say is making sense.

If necessary, change your sentences or use a different keyword.

The keyword is dizziness. As you can see, the original sentence without the keyword looks natural.

But if the keyword was added to it, it doesn’t make any sense. It doesn’t blend well with my original sentence. So I composed a new one!

Keyword research allows your website to rank on top of search results. Even if you won’t be on the #1 spot yet (considering you’re new), you can still be one of the highest ranked ones!

It increases your visibility, too. And of course, the more people you can get to see your content, the better the chances of it getting a backlink!

Create content that people want to link out to

Link to unique domains

Avoid linking to the same domain multiple times. Google is never a fan of artificial link building strategies. And this is one of those!

Particularly, Google is not a fan of websites with few referring domains.

Let’s take a step back before moving forward here.

Here’s a simple definition of backlinks:

“A link to your website from another website.”

Meanwhile, here’s a simple definition of referring domains:

“They are domains that serve as the source of backlinks.”

You see, it’s not rare to think that “backlinks” and “referring domains” are just the same thing. But they’re not. And neither are they interchangeable.

To build quality backlinks, you should know their difference.

Your goal here is not just to build links. But you also have a good ratio involving the number of backlinks to the number of referring domains.

If you have 500 backlinks from 100 websites, it means you have 100 referring domains. And it means you have a 5:1 backlinks to referring domains ratio. 

But if you’re looking at a 500:5 backlinks to referring domains ratio, your odds are not looking well. 500 backlinks from only 5 sources? It seems like you’re paying for an automated link building service!
